Silly Boy, Sleepy Boy!

I bet he could easily fit through the cat door to the basement...

And isn't he oh-so-adorable sleeping?

Look at those cute curls

Dentist Time

Rowe has been to the Dentist before, but I believe Peter took her.  This week, all three girls had appointments.  Rowena's went really well.  Delaney's went okay, and Katie has two significant cavaties.  I can't tell you how crappy a parent you feel when the Dentist and Hygentist talk to you about how to take care of your children's teeth properly.  We know.  Believe me, we know.  We have our children brush their teeth every morning and every night.  However, on the weekends we're bad...as we let the girls have "Movie Night" in our big bed and they have apples, string cheese, and strawberry milk, and proceed to fall asleep before we brush teeth.  Oops.  And, we'll admit, we're terrible about flossing.  Ugh.  Anyway.  Rowena did great during her cleaning and xrays.  Here are some snapshots I took (which was right after ballet, obviously)...

Is It Really THAT Hot?

Yep!  It sure it.  At least according to my kids!  After school, Delaney and Katie rushed into the house and asked if we could get out the slip-n-slide.  I offered just the hose, but that wasn't exciting enough, so out came the slip-n-slide.  And, it's only March 14th!

They only lasted about 45 minutes, but they had a blast!  Charlie, however, was not a fan.

A March Day At the Zoo

After Delaney and Kate got on the bus this morning, I packed up a lunch and the two Littles and headed to the zoo.  We met a couple friends, from the Mom's Group I'm in, there.  It was GORGEOUS!  Close to 80* and sunny.  (I actually got a little pink in the face today).

Isa was our map reader and leader for a while:

The girls loved walking together:

The boys enjoyed the ride:
Who doesn't love the kangaroo? (I guess Beth)
But, they all loved looking at the animals

And they had fun being silly:

Charlie continued to enjoy his ride:

And then, to get a break from the heat and sun, we headed indoors for some playing:

A 3 1/2 hour day at the zoo, lots of walking and playing, and the heat...equals two tired Littles.  Can't wait to repeat next Wednesday!
