I know I've said this before, but I'll say it again...Rowena is SUCH a happy baby! She's always so smiley and cheerful. She loves to laugh and is ticklish. She loves her megasaucer, as it has a ton of things for her to put in her mouth. She's pretty attached to her thumb and her "blankie" (i.e. her burb cloth--as all our kids are). Things she's now doing--rolling over like a champ. She usually goes from back to front, but can go from front to back. She can push herself up onto her knees, but usually leaves her chest and face on the floor. She scoots around in circles, but I think she's pretty close to scooting forward a bit. I'm thinking she'll be crawling in another 2 months. No teeth yet, but she loves real food. She's definitely nursing less and less, and I think she'll be weaned by 6-7 months. She will be moving from Stage 1 to Stage 2 at the end of this month. She can sit unsupported, for short amounts of time.
Delaney is so funny! She's always making faces. She's very competitive, social, and fun-loving. She tends to be a bit sensitive, but is kind and loving to others. She loves being a big sister, and gets along with most kids. At times she can throw a fit or two, but she's becoming more mature about accepting rules and responsibilities. She is very excited to start school in just three weeks. She's up for the challenges of riding the bus and going to school every day.
Katie is at that rough stage with us. She's starting to throw more tantrums. She's in the Horrific Fours! :) She's so damn funny; always making up words, people, and situations. She's super creative and very energetic. She's been demonstrating her stubborn streak lately by refusing to take "no" for an answer. She's also becoming much more aggressive with her big sister, Delaney. She continually entertains Rowena--always in her face, making noises, telling stories, re-enacting movie scenes (wow-a TRUE Henderson). I'm curious to see how she does on the days that Delaney is at school, and she's home. She's looking forward to returning to "her" school.
