We had a wonderful time decorating for the holidays this year...ahahha. First we got the tree the Sunday after Thanksgiving, but didn't get any decorations out because we first had to put away all of the fall ones. Finally that was done (a couple days later), so we decorated the house with all of our Christmas gear first...then it was too late to do the tree. Poor Delaney was so patient, but asked daily when we could do it. We really wanted it to be a family thing, but with our crazy schedules, that didn't happen. One morning, Pete got the decorations and let the kids decorate...the tree is very bottom-heavy! A few days later, we were vacuuming around the tree, and it toppled over, knocking many of the ornaments off. Those are still laying on one of the couches...:). We had to go out and get a new tree stand, and transfer the tree. It was quite funny...
