Flood Day Fun

We had a snow day back in February, which was so much fun.  And, while I'm not a fan of the added days on the end of the school year, I was pretty excited when the recent flood let the kids stay home for two days. Sadly, many people were effected negatively by the flood...some homes completely submerged. We were (surprisingly) lucky this time and our basement actually stayed dry.

This is how we spent our Flood Days...outside in the rain and water with the Ruch's and then inside for dinner and crafts with the Salkas'.
