Katie's Field Trip

On Wednesday, Katie's preschool went to a local Pumpkin Farm for a field trip. Luckily we have great neighbors, and Dawn watched Rowena so we could go (no siblings allowed). Katie and I had a blast together...just the two of us (and her class, of course).

When we got there, we got wrist bands and entered to head straight to a little train ride. Then we went in a corn maze, played at a playground, went on a tractor/hayride, listened to a little dragon talk to us about Jack and the Bean Stalk and hard work on farms, went to another playground, sat in a silo and listened to the owner talk about farming, then had snacks. We finished the day feeding the goats and each getting a pumpkin.

We had a great time. Thanks, Dawn, for taking care of Rowena so Katie could get some much needed one-on-one time with her Mommy!
