Rowena's First Visitors

Things are going very well here. Rowena is fitting into the family, and everyone is very attentive and loving. The girls love to hold her, and are anxious to help out however they can. We've been so fortunate, and Rowe is so loved, to have so many family members coming in from all over to visit. Grammie and Poppy have been over a couple times, Uncle Wesley and Leann came in from Michigan on Saturday, Sunday Nana came in from Iowa, and Grandpa and Paula visited Monday. The pictures of Grammie and/or Poppy with Rowe are on Grammie's camera...and therefore I don't have them. :(

Rowe is starting to get her schedule right...awake more during the day, sleeping for long periods at night. Saturday night she would sleep for about 3 hours at a time and then need to eat. She's nursing well, and a pretty happy baby. Last night she slept from 10:30-3:30!!! Knock on wood that will continue. Her first doc appointment went well (where she was almost 48 hours old). She has another appointment on tomorrow. Pete returns to work on Wednesday, and hopefully we'll have a decent schedule set up by then. Of course, that might be wishful thinking...
